The life originated on the earth millions of years ago. To start with, there was only one-celled organism. Why didn’t it remain forever? What would have been happened if it did not show any proactive ness afterwards? We all would never have been here today. Reproduction is basically important for continuation of species and making up loss produced from deaths.

The smaller and microscopic organisms find a “short cut” for their progenies to propagate. Why? What is the life span of us? A few years right? And that of them? A few hours or a few days! So they have to do it fast! That’s why they choose binary fission, budding etc. In binary fission, the cell (body of the organism) divides in such a way that the genetic material is divided equally and quickly. In budding, there is no problem of division of the cell and all. The new organism is directly produced from the old one and is free to live independently within no time.

So there is no need for them to have the specialized gonads- the structures which carry out the production of specialized cells for reproduction. The gonads in human are called as testes in man and ovaries in woman. The cells are called sperms in man and ova in woman. The sperms are produced millions in number at a time while ovum is produced only twice in a month.

The gonad is a part of a system which is important in carrying out the process of reproduction. The system is called reproductive system which shows series of events inside it especially in a woman.

The female reproductive system shows a systematic series of events called menstrual cycle to give provision, if there is the combination of a sperm and an ovum, which results in the formation of new individual in future. At the same time, a woman’s body also synchronizes the milk production in the mammary glands to give ready milk to the individual- the baby that takes birth.

Thus there are many things taking place in a man’s and a woman’s body. All of them are headed towards a design from nature- the reproduction. Although it takes time to form the new individual as compared to the unicellular organism, it is the most convincing method as there is absolutely no loss of cells or anything unlike in unicellular ones, where there is a huge loss of cells during and after reproduction.

Hence, the reproduction is the most important part of a species’ life as it leads to propagation of the species and also, THE EVOLUTION of the species into the new ones. So, we can call it as A divine design from nature..
