Ednexa has pioneered the concept of webinar for MHT-CET and AIEEE exams. We launched this functionality for CET 2012 and received huge response as well as very good feedback from students!
Here is the concept of webinar explained in detail for you :
- Webinar is online seminar where a professor comes online from his place (in this case, Ednexa office) and students come online from their homes. Professor conducts an online guidance lectures for all the online students.
- Professor uses latest technology like desktop sharing, digital whiteboard, slideshows and animations to explain important topics or concepts to students.
- Student should have proper speakers / headphones connected to his computer so as to listen to the lecture effectively. If he has a mike attached to the computer, he can raise hand and ask question to the professor, if given permission. If he does not have a mike, he can type his question in the text box provided on the webinar application.
It is highly recommended that students go through some important instructions concerning hardware and software before the webinar starts, to avoid last-minute hiccups. Please read these instructions below :
- The minimum configuration of the system should be
> RAM - 512 MB or more
> CPU - Pentimum or above
> Operating Systems:
Windows XP (Internet Explorer or Firefox)
Windows Vista (Internet Explorer or Firefox)
Windows 7 (Internet Explorer or Firefox)
- Headphones or speakers attached to the computer. Microphone is desired but not required.
- Please note that the Ednexa webinars can be attended in browsers Google Chrome or Internet Explorer 7.0+ Or Mozilla Firefox 3.0 or newer. Hence, if you don't have any of these browsers installed, please install the latest Google Chrome at http://www.google.com/chrome
Please click on the button titled 'Download Google Chrome', follow the instructions and complete the installation process.
If you have older versions of the browsers, please upgrade to latest versions as follows :
> Mozilla Firefox - Please click on the tab 'Help' at the upper side of the Firefox browser. Click on link 'Check for updates'. Click on button 'Get the New Version' and complete the installation process.
> Internet Explorer - Visit the link : http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=9AE91EBE-3385-447C-8A30-081805B2F90B&displaylang=en
Download the version 7 of Internet Explorer, as it works on Windows XP, Vista and 7 Operating Systems. Newer versions might not work on Windows XP, hence it is better to install IE7 on your machine.
